Order Acceptance

All orders received through www.unclevic.comare subject to review by our Accounting Department. Receipt of order confirmation either electronically or verbally does not constitute acceptance of the order. UncleVic.com reserves the right to decline any orders received after the confirmation was sent. Additional authorization may be required after the order is placed and confirmed.

Payment Method

The following payment methods are accepted:

Personal checks must clear before any item will be shipped. Any order received via mail with a personal check included is subject to strict review.


Processing Time

After our Accounting Department reviews the order, all in-stock items will ship within 2-3 business days. Depending on the accuracy of information provided by customer at the time of purchase, the accounting review may take up to 48 hours. No orders are processed over the weekend and on nationally recognized holidays.

Your debit/credit card will only be charged once the order ships. Upon submitting your order on our website, a pre-authorization attempt will be made on your account. This attempt may be declined by your bank. Multiple submissions will result in multiple attempts. Although the charge will only be posted once we ship, the pre-authorization does put a hold on the purchase amount making this amount unavailable for any purchases.

 

 

Transit Time

Once the order is reviewed and accepted, the originally selected shipping method will be used to ship the order unless otherwise requested. Changing the shipping method after placing the order will incur additional charges. Please note orders must be placed before 2:00 Pacific Time to be considered for same day shipping. Also note that orders being shipped to an address other than the billing address may incur additional processing time and may delay the order being processed by 1-2 business days. Customers are encouraged to contact our customer service department if you have any questions regarding shipping timeframes.

Shipping Restrictions

UncleVic.com does not ship to PO Boxes or internationally. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, or Canada are possible but must be processed manually (not through the website.) Please call (888) 3-UncleVic (888-386-2538) if you have special shipping needs.

 

Shipping and Handling Rates

Shipping and handling rates are calculated based on the actual weight and dimensions of the item ordered and the shipping zip code.

 

Damaged / Lost Packages

All damaged or lost packages must be reported to UncleVic.com within no more than seven (7) business days after the original shipping date. UncleVic.com will then file a claim for the carrier. Any customer reimbursement and/or reshipments are subject to the result of the claim which may take up to 30 days.

 

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only assessed on orders shipping to the state of California.

 

Electronic Waste Recycling Act

By law any California company must collect the appropriate electronic waste recycling fee for any LCD screen sold. The fee schedule is as follows:

  • LCD screen greater than 4” but less than 15”: $8.00
  • LCD screen greater than or equal to 15” but less than 35”: $16.00
  • LCD screen greater than or equal to 35” $25.00

 

Promotional Codes

UncleVic.com may from time to time offer promotional codes through e-mail, print/online advertisements, newsletters, or its website. These promotional codes are subject to restrictions as described at the time of offering. Promotional codes are not valid on previous purchases. If there is a technical error, for instance if a promotional code is used for a purchase outside of the intended purpose, Uncle Vic reserves the right to cancel an order if an agreement cannot be agreed to with the customer, even if the website accepts the promotional code.

 

Price Matching

UncleVic.com does not offer price matching.

 

Errors on Website

UncleVic.com reserves the right to refuse/adjust/cancel any order with incorrect pricing. In the unfortunate event that an item purchased was listed at an incorrect price, UncleVic.com will notify customer in a timely manner.

 

Backorders

UncleVic.com will not intentionally sell backordered items. In case an item is out of stock at the time of purchase, UncleVic.com will do its best to restock the item in a timely and notify customer via e-mail or phone on the status of the backordered item.

 

Bundle Items

Special bundle packages are subject to availability of the individual items included in the bundle.

 

Privacy and Security

UncleVic.com takes the privacy of its customers very seriously and will not sell customer information to any third party under any circumstances.

Return Policy

Any return request must be communicated to UncleVic.com within the warranty period. Please notify UncleVic.com by calling (888) 3-UncleVic (888) 386-2538 or email us at rma@UncleVic.comprior to returning any item to us. Any unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to customer at customer’s expense. Specific warranty information is listed under every item and on the order confirmation. Please refer to your original sales receipt for warranty on your particular product.

 

Defective Items

In case an item is defective, UncleVic.com will arrange for a replacement for the same item if available. If the originally purchased item is no longer available, a similar item may be offered.

UncleVic.com may issue a return call tag to customer to return any defective products.

 

Replacements

UncleVic.com stands behind its products. If a product fails within the specified warranty period, we will gladly replace or fix it.

 

Refunds

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All returns for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If an item is defective or no replacement is available, the restocking fee may be waived. Items returned for refund must be pre-approved by our customer service department. Items returned without original packaging, missing items may incur additional items. Items returned that are damaged, may void the warranty and may be denied for refund. Items shipped to UncleVic.com without prior authorization will be returned to the customer at customer’s expense.

 

Things to Consider when Returning an Item

All returns will be inspected by our Returns Department. Returns not meeting the below criteria are subject to a 15% restocking fee and other charges if applicable:

  • Products returned must be in the same condition as sold

  • Original inside and outside packaging must be returned

  • All serial numbers must match the serial number on the invoice and/or original packaging

  • Products with obvious damage, including, but not limited to abuse, cracks, dents might be refused

  • Bundled Items must include all individual items sold at the time of purchase

In case a return is rejected, UncleVic.com will document all the reasons and notify customer in a timely manner.
